Hotpoint and the Environment

Hotpoint are one of the most environmentally aware kitchen appliance manufacturers out there at the moment. I think that all the big companies are going that way- there is increasing pressure from government and new legislation and the consumers are often far more aware of their carbon footprint these days than they were, say, 15 years ago.

Features like A+ rated appliances from Hotpoint as well as eco-cycles on their washing machines are just a couple of things that show that Hotpoint is doing its bit to go as green as they can.

Hotpoint Working Together with Childline

One thing that I did not know about Hotpoint until recently was that they support the NSPCC's Childline support number. I only found out because a customer mentioned it to me when browsing for a new washing machine. I suppose it makes sense. Hotpoint is a household name and by sponsoring Childine, they are helping households. I checked it out and Hotpoint have raised almost £390,000 this year through sponsorship and fundraising. It's really nice when such a big company gives back a little.
